Q: How soon in advance should I book services? A: As soon as you have your date secured you want to secure your hair and makeup. It's just as important as the wedding dress. This is an area you don't want to wait on. Gratefully through referrals, our calendars fill up quickly. In order to secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required. The deposit is applied towards the total balance due on the date of the wedding. Deposits can be made payable:

Q: I don’t know how many people will want their hair and make up done. A: If you are unsure about the number of people needing services for your event and Blushing Studios has the date available, we recommend booking services for yourself at this time by paying the deposit. This ensures that you will be taken care of. If later during the planning process you have others to add, and the extra time needed is still available, we will revise the appointment and add them to the list.
Q: If my wedding party is large, can you accommodate by bringing other artists? A: Yes. Our team of stylists are all licensed Cosmetologists and make-up artists. Typically, if there are 6 or more girls getting ready-we bring other stylists to cut down on the amount of time it takes to get ready. Contact us about group discounts.

Q: Do you provide the vows or do we? A: Vows can be customized any way you'd like.
Trial Run
Q: What should I do to myself to prepare? A: Have your hair blown dried and ready to be curled or put up. Your face should be cleansed and moisturized. Try to wear a button-down top, or something easily taken off that won’t affect your hair or make-up when you take it off. All trial runs are scheduled for two hour increments.
Q: Would it help if I brought some pictures? A: Absolutely. Pictures for hair and make-up are great. Although I am very good at understanding what you’re thinking and taking into consideration what will look best on you. Pictures can say exactly what you desire and make sure we are on the same page.
Hair
Q: Should I wash my hair before my appointment? A: You don’t need to unless you have oily hair; then it’s necessary. Please have hair dry before arrival unless discussed.
Q: Should I Condition or use any products in my hair? A: If necessary to comb out hair, then yes. But do not put conditioner at your scalp. This will only make hair too soft and silky, and will not hold up as well.
Q: Would it help if I brought some pictures? A: Absolutely. Pictures for hair and make-up are great. Pictures can say exactly what you desire and make sure we are on the same page. Although, we are understanding that sometimes you may need guidance to help you achieve the exact look.
Q: When should I have my hair colored before the wedding? A: Typically recommend 7-10 days before hand.
Makeup
Q: What are the benefits to using airbrushing? A: Airbrush is incredible. We use a waterproof formula so it will hold up to humidity and tears. It is extremely lightweight so, you don’t feel that you even have anything on. You will look flawless in pictures. This is a definite favorite with photographers. This makeup is put on as light or as heavy as needed. So, weather you are a bride who wants top be as natural as can be or if you have problem skin you will be happy. Q: What if my skin is sensitive to make-up? A: The make-up we use we use is hypoallergenic. If you have any real concerns or allergic to many products feel free to bring your products that work on your skin that make you feel most comfortable. Q: Will I need to touch up anything? A: If your oily I suggest a compact or blotting papers. A simple lip gloss for your lips for touch up for later on in the night. If you might need more I am available for for touch-ups priced by the hour.
Q: What if I have a certain makeup product that I prefer to use? A: Not a problem. Just have them available that day.

Q: How soon should I start to get ready? A: Roughly 1 hour per person for both hair and makeup.
Q: My eyebrows are pretty full. Should I have them cleaned up? A: Yes. this will open your eyes up and your make-up will look even better. Please do this a few times so you get used to which ever hair removal procedure you use.
Tanning
• Shower and lightly exfoliate 24 to 6 hours before tanning. Do not injure the skin with rough exfoliation. • Remove body hair 24 to 8 hours before your tanning session • Skin should be clean and dry before being sprayed. Don’t apply moisturizers, deodorants, antiperspirants, oils or makeup before your tanning appointment. They can effect tan development.
